1. Document processing

All PDF tools on FormatLayer run entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your documents are opened, modified and exported on your own device. We do not receive, store, or process the contents of your files on any server.

2. Accounts

An optional account is available to save preferences. If you create one, we store your email address and authentication metadata. We do not associate any document content with your account.

3. Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (page views, browser type) to understand traffic. No document content is ever included.
